Facilities: Virtual Reality

For the DMU Competence Center NIKI chose the IC:One Mobile VR system produced by ICIDO GmbH. The system consists of a back projection screen with 2 projectors, a two camera movement tracking system driven by its dedicated workstation, a 2 workstations graphics rendering cluster and a controller laptop.

IC:One Mobile

A stick-like device is being used for movement tracking and user interaction and the neccessary polar glasses for achieving the stereoscopic image. The system is modular and can be disassembled and moved to another location easily.
